Plagiarism policy

The Journal of Policy and Development Studies maintains rigorous standards of academic integrity. Upon submission, each manuscript is screened in its original form for plagiarism, and a detailed report is shared with the author.

  • Manuscripts with acceptable levels of similarity (below 15%) proceed to peer review.
  • If accepted, the author receives an acceptance certificate along with the initial plagiarism report and is required to reduce any remaining similarity to within the 0–15% range.

Following revisions, a final plagiarism check is conducted to verify originality, with a second report provided to the author. All reports are issued to ensure transparency and uphold the journal’s commitment to research integrity.
