Archiving Policy

The Journal of Languages and Linguistics is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. To ensure enduring availability, the journal implements the following archiving strategies:

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

This journal participates in the PKP PN, an automated, LOCKSS-based preservation service integrated within the OJS platform. Through PKP PN, all published content is securely stored in multiple distributed repositories, safeguarding against data loss and guaranteeing continued access even in the event of system failure or journal closure.

Local Hosting and Institutional Backups

All content is hosted on our Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and backed up regularly on secure institutional servers. Our technical team conducts routine checks to maintain data integrity and minimize downtime.

Public Access

Archived content—including past volumes and issues—is accessible to the public at no cost via the journal’s Archive section. We support open access and the free circulation of scholarly knowledge.
