Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

The Journal of Music and Creative Arts (JMCA)recognizes the importance of privacy and security for all customers, authors, reviewers, and readers. Therefore, the names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

- We also use data to understand the website’s operations, security, and the quality of the experience we offer users.

- While handling a submission, personal data is only disclosed to third parties when required to fulfill services, such as passing on the submission details to the peer reviewers or when legally mandated to do so.
- Personal information is never shared or disseminated to third parties for any marketing or other commercial benefits.
Data Security
- So as to retain and protect personal information adequately, it is secured through such techniques as encryption, the use of secure servers, and regular security reviews.
- The data is restricted to the following personnel and all the employees they train on privacy and data protection frequently.
User Rights
- The user is allowed to access, rectify, or erase the data concerning them.
- Users may use their rights to contact us at any time. We will respond to requests promptly in compliance with current data protection legislation, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Retention Period
Personal data is kept only for the time required to achieve the goal for which it was collected, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
