Publication Ethics Statement

The  Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship (JBE)is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in research and publication. While we do uphold policies set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), we insist on transparency, honesty, and integrity with respect to all publications associated with the journal.

Author Responsibilities

  • Originality: Authors have to make sure that the works have not been submitted to other publications for consideration for publication.
  • Transparency: All the articles that have been published should have a declaration of any conflict of interest that may have been encountered in the process of conducting this research.
  • Accountability: Authors own and control data; hence, any errors or falsifications must be addressed immediately.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • The reviewers are required to express their opinions in the most impartial way using only academic criteria in a yardstick.
  • There should be strict privacy in the reviews, and all sorts of self-interest should be reported on the self immediately.

Editorial Responsibilities

  • In particular, the editorial board is expected to oversee compliance with ethical issues regarding the content that is being published.
  • Publishers will not be motivated by financial gains or political pressure when making their editors’ decisions on publication.
